challenge drabbles

The responses to the drabble challenge from... June 4th.... Okay, yeah, that's been a while. The challenge was to pick a number and a character, and I would write a drabble for that character that went with the corresponding song on my playlist. Unfortunately, that caused all of these to become more than mildly crack-ish. You have been warned.
MegaUpload links to the songs are included for your listening pleasure. Listening to the songs as you read the drabbles is definitely an experience, some more than others.

Summary: For
youko_astarael. This takes some explaining- If the song itself is Rai's thoughts, then this drabble would be a response to those thoughts... from everyone's favorite creepy stalker. Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down
Such an interesting mind this one had. Strong and resistant, something for which Nebiros, last and cruelest of the Six, planned to make him suffer greatly once he’d gained complete control. He could have given the boy release, sent his soul off into oblivion after he took over the boy’s body, but no. No, there were more amusing things he could do with this one who was denying him so persistently.
He would keep the boy’s soul, trap him in a corner of his own mind and let him watch and listen as his body was used to entrap this Other who so enticed him. The boy carried such interesting thoughts about this one he called his sword, his… friend.
Nebiros found even the word distasteful, yet it might be useful. Pull the sword close, give it what it seemed to want, what it could not get from the boy now, keep it by his side while the boy went slowly crazy in his own mind. Wouldn’t it be poetic if the hand that had first saved this sword were to finish it? That particular temptation must have bled into his host as Nebiros was delighted to feel him twitch.
Ah, little shield, this was only the beginning.

planetgal471. Darth gets the twins a present Go Tell it on the Mountain by the Jingle Cats
He had only meant to get a nice Christmas present for the twins. Something that Luke could take care of, maybe gain some confidence… Something to keep Leia occupied and away from that Han character. He hadn’t meant for… well… this.
Breathe.
Intentions aside, the sheer horror of this present-gone-wrong could hardly be ignored. Luke, of course, thought they were perfectly adorable, but as the two small kittens launched into their third rendition of “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” Darth couldn’t help but wonder why he couldn’t have just gotten him a pet rock like last year.
Title: They'll See
Series: Saiyuki

Word count: 203
Summary: For
krillia. Hakuryu.... well, is Hakuryu. And the jeep. You'll See from RENT
“Hey, ya bum! Yeah, you, move over! Get your ass off that jeep!”
Hakuryu meeped thankfully as the person who’d been leaning against his fender moved off under Sanzo’s careful scrutiny. He didn’t enjoy these evenings left outside in his jeep form. Oh, he understood –as far as a very smart but very small dragon can understand- that sometimes he just needed to appear as less than he was. Not every town would welcome a dragon as easily as they might overlook an unconventional means of transportation.
However, he drew the line when three youths started closing in on him, muttering “You’ll see. We’ll make a fortune offa this” to each other. The flash of light probably would have startled them enough on its own, but he made sure to give the leader a wing in the face for his troubles as he flew past. Finding Hakkai’s window wasn’t hard, nor was kyu-ing loudly enough to be let in. Hakkai was hardly a heavy sleeper. He couldn’t quite contain his smug “Kyu!” when Hakkai wondered out loud why he was in his dragon form instead of outside waiting for them. Next time they tried to leave him outside.. well, he’d see about that.

Summary: For
yuuo. Roy and Hughes visit a club. Hooked on Polkas by Weird Al Yankovic
“Hughes…”
“Relax, Roy. You’ll love this place.”
“Hughes…”
“Granted, the music’s a little unconventional, but-“
“HUGHES!”
“Sheesh, Roy, you don’t have to yell.”
Roy rubbed his forehead, trying to ward off the headache that.. noise (which he refused to call music) was giving him. “Hughes? Why am I here?”
“I thought that would be obvious, Roy. This’s a dance club, therefore, by deduction, ipso facto, and all kinds of other interesting and useful jargon, one might assume that you were here, you know, to dance.” Roy briefly wondered if there were some alchemy that could allow his glare to become deadly. “Alright, alright! Maybe just have some fun. No dancing.”
“…”
“So eloquent tonight, Roy.”
“Polka.”
“Hm?”
“It’s polka, Hughes. Polka. You brought me to a club that plays polka.”
“Well, you know, I just thought-“
“Hughes… give me a good reason not to strangle you right now.”
“Well, there’d be an awful lot of witnesses if you did it right now, Roy.”
“…I said a good reason.”
“…You know, there’s this other club I heard about…”
Obviously, he didn’t need alchemy.
